This had to have been the most difficult two-foot bumpout in the history of kitchen remodeling! Although nice, this kitchen was lacking the necessary space and functionality to accommodate a larger, multigenerational family living under one roof. The existing space felt confined and storage was very inefficient, which lead to this kitchen remodel and small addition. The new design features a terrazzo floor, custom cabinetry in wood, composite, and glass door finishes, a custom curved banquette with seating and decorative wood screen, and custom stair system with decorative glass "floating" panels and accent lighting. The rounded nature and use of walnut coincide with the midcentury modern bones of this home.
