2020 Regional CotY Award Winner, Residential Historical Renovation/ Restoration Under $250,000
This 1902 historic kitchen’s floor plan was split into separate kitchen and breakfast areas. The client wanted to reconfigure the floor plan to create one large kitchen space. To meet this challeging request, the myriad of pipes in the wall had to be rerouted; the hot water heater relocated; and two layers of solid brick had to be cut through to move windows and doors. The new kitchen feels like the historic kitchen that this stately home was always meant to have.
