The clients had lived and raised their children in this tight, three-bedroom California ranch home, but they always dreamed of a larger space for their future larger family to come back home too. They also wanted their remodeled home to mimic the feel and style of the Ritz Carlton residences. The home’s footprint expanded with a front extension and a revised first level floor plan with open yet defined spaces, and includes a relocated kitchen, new office space and guest quarters. A new second floor relocated the bedrooms upstairs, and the basement was completely refinished. The new exterior has a modern farmhouse meets French country style.
