The clients wanted to add a second master suite located away from their existing bedrooms. They also wanted more privacy and an aging-in-place design so as they age they can remain in their home indefinitely. Their plan is to utilize the existing master bedroom to accommodate a future in-home care giver. The 444-square-foot addition made room for a spacious bedroom, bathroom with twin lavatories, private toilet room, a roomy accessible shower, and a large walk-in closet. The new master bedroom has private access to the rear yard and lots of windows for natural light and ventilation.
