2024 Regional CotY Award Winner, Residential Architectural Design Over 500 sq ft
The architectural plans are for a historic home and include a whole-house remodel, addition and new detached garage. Our client tasked us with creating a functional space suitable for today's lifestyle, while respecting the historical significance of the structure. The appearance of the front facade has been maintained, the footprint of the existing structure is largely intact and elements such shiplap and a two-sided fireplace are restored. The addition is light-filled, conducive to open plan living and allows for modern day conveniences. The result is a warm and inviting space that harmoniously combines the past and the present.
