The homeowner wanted her compartmentalized master bathroom transformed into a relaxing space that was open, bright using the bathtub, which she used daily as the focal point. A spa ambiance was desired without the maintenance of stone and marble- with significant storage for a single professional woman.
The space now feels larger and brighter because two narrow vertical windows were removed and replaced with a large picture window. The custom ash cabinets are stained grey that still allows all the natural beauty of the wood to glow through. All horizontal surfaces are covered in quartz that provides added durability. A glass mosaic using sea foam green glass marble and white glass provides interest in the shower area. The floors and walls are Arizona tile porcelain. The mirrors were custom cut with a one-inch beveled edge. A custom linen cabinet provides additional storage.
