2020 Regional CotY Award Winner, Residential Detached Structure
This west Austin family wanted to transform their home from 1990s eclectic to a versatile modern farmhouse. In addition to a whole house renovation, this family wanted to add a new negative edge pool, outdoor living and a new guest house/cabana for their out-of-town friends and family. The new structure matches the main home’s farmhouse modern aesthetic, with timber frame details, a metal roof and local stone siding. The structure now offers a place for their kids to hang out, and provides the family with a full guest suite.
