2020 Regional CotY Award Winner, Residential Detached Structure
A client with a large family and kids transitioning into college wanted to create a space for them to enjoy on the weekends at their lake house retreat. After completing some minor deck renovations, the focus turned to a buffer lot the client owned. With a grade change of 12 feet over 20 feet, a rocky soil structure and a ravine with a small stream spreading it from the lake home, the buffer lot was not conducive to building. However, an in-depth review and planning helped bring a secluded treehouse with a 55-foot walking bridge to life.
