2021 Regional CotY Award Winner, Residential Exterior Under $50,000
The clients wanted an outdoor covering of some sort over their entry. Their front door was completely exposed, and the elements were taking a toll on the unprotected door. They also felt that their entry was uninviting to guests and often meant coming home to wet packages. The new entry features a tongue-and-groove ceiling stained in slate grey, and a concrete entry pad with custom stamping and stain that was blended on site. A new 18-inch electric copper lantern was placed adjacent to the custom-designed hand-forged wrought iron door. The result provided some much needed curb appeal.
