The clients wanted a modern design that addressed the tight kitchen footprint and separation from the family room. To achieve this, the kitchen was completely opened to the family room. Long work surfaces, a double waterfall island, pro-style appliances, ample counter seating, and storage drawers with kid-proof stylish banquette seating are some of the finishing touches. An angled built-in gas fireplace with reclaimed mantle complements the new storage TV wall. Rustic flooring throughout, a colorful front office barn door, stairway railing and banister, and modern entry door greet their guests. A new laundry mudroom function and sink completed their wish list.
