The clients desired an eye-catching bathroom that felt contemporary while still honoring the Prairie roots of their home. They also wanted additional functional storage space for non-bathroom items. By reconfiguring the bathroom layout, removing the angled wall and relocating the bathroom door, space was gained for a second storage closet off of the main entry. This also streamlined the floor plan of the powder bath. Cherry wood cabinetry and molding were added to tie into the home’s Prairie style, while a copper vessel sink and wall hung vanity add a contemporary twist.
