This 1990s house with its light oak wood trim, brown carpet and off-white walls needed a major overhaul. To transform the space, walls were removed and the entire first floor of the home was remodeled. Features include new knotty pine doors and wide plank wood flooring in a light finish, white shiplap walls in the entry and in the mudroom, and white built-in cabinets and shelving in the media room. The mudroom, pantry and hall bathroom flooring is a 12-inch by 24-inch grey tile in a vertical brickwork pattern. The result is a bright and timeless farmhouse style home that can grow with this young family.
